This 2022 Riesling is a single vineyard wine from the Grimsby Hillside Vineyard. The fruit, which was organically farmed, hung on the vine for a long time to increase the flavour concentration and create some more honeyed and nutty notes that shine through in this wine. When it came into the winery, we direct pressed it straight into neutral oak casks to ferment. The wine stays in these casks on full lees, being topped up as needed, until blending and bottling. Oxidatively created with very low sulphur added. Hand sorted, hand picked, zero filtration.
