Afterglow is a blend of Riesling, Gamay, Vidal, and Gewürztraminer. The white grapes were fermented on their skins before the wine was pressed off, and we added the gamey Gamay because its beautiful fruit character goes sooooo well with Gewurzt! An interesting note about the Gewurtz here is that is comes from the 2020 vintage, and has been chilling in barrel until we decided to go ahead with this blend.
