100% Skin contact Vermentino from the Koerner Gullyview Vineyard, Clare Valley. This release is what Pigato is all about, pure, fresh and vibrant. Subtle white spice and ginger on the nose but the palate is brimming with vibrant stone fruit that smacks of adult-friendly peach iced-tea., including the ice tea like texture (i.e. soft tannins.) Well integrated Watervale acidity creates a mouth watering finish. This is the perfect punters introduction to skin contact wines. (Pigato is the Ligurian name for Vermentino.)
