According to winemaker Damon Koerner 2020 produced the best riesling they've ever seen. The blend comes from three parcels aged 49-99 years-old, planted in red clay over limestone and slate bedrock. As always the clusters were crushed, destemmed and left in the press for 18 hours before a free-run only minimal rotation press cycle. A natural fermentation took place in steel, amphora and Slavonian demi-muid for 2 months before aging out in stainless steel. The result is a textured riesling with light spice, key lime and salivating acidity.
