Okay so your friend is making you a four-course meal that at some point includes white truffle shavings, veal capaccio and duck pancakes. The meal is kinda all over the place tbh but your friend is trying to spoil you! And all you have to do is bring the wine. So what do you bring? This Sancerre Pinot Noir, duh! And probably a bottle of Champagne or Barolo. The little P Noir can go a pretty long distance in terms of pairing. It's a bit of social glue that spins any potentially hurtful comment into a compliment. It manages to grab the conversation by the horns and steer it into pure, smooth, sweet fun. It ties everything together and has enough string to make the excess a cute bow. Earthy, tart and lovely acid structure no one who likes nice things could dislike this wine.
Please note, all orders come with chips!
